A pair of Nopiloa Vercruz style bronze sculptures. Magnificent patina.
Weight 2.367kg and 2.419kg standing 30cm tall.
An original terracotta sculpture with articulated arms, height 25 cm, from Nopiloa, Veracruz, Mexico Southern Veracruz civilization, 600-900. Xalapa, was displayed at the Museo De Antropologia De Xalapa. This pair of sculptures is heavily modelled on the original. I have been unable to determine why, when and where they were made.
